Another Stretch Goal Unlocked!

As we begin the final week of the campaign we are so excited to have another stretch goal unlocked. So excited, in fact, that we wanted to share with you what is in store if we can get about $10,000 in the final week.

If you've been with us since the beginning, you'll know about some of these stretch goals, however we also wanted to share with you that if we can get to $37,000 we will be able to unlock a mini-expansion for the game which will add an interesting new challenge to the game and increase the variability, we will talk about that more once we unlock it!

This has been a great campaign so far for us and we are so excited to share our games with you. We have a lot more games we would like to share with you as this is only the first game in the Chinese Cities Series. Thank you so much for all of your support and help making it possible for us to bring our games to a wider world audience. We have loved creating these games for an Asian market and are so excited about all of the positive experiences you are having with the game so far. We can't wait to get this one to your table!

Streams and Stretch Goals!

Hello everybody!

We are so excited to be able to bring this game to you because it means that we will be able to do more in the Chinese City Series later! What is the Chinese City Series you ask? Well, we haven't yet fully revealed it, but we will give you a full detailed explanation in a future update, for now we want to focus on what you can expect with Pingyao.

We are planning on getting some more streaming content out for everybody to get to know a little bit more about Pingyao. The next stream we have prepared for you is going to occur on Saturday at 5pm EDT and they will be doing a giveaway!

Because we have so many great things we want to add to this game, we wanted to give everybody a little peek behind the curtains for some of the stretch goals we have coming up. Several people have asked if there were any plans to upgrade some of the components like the start token or make the agent tokens more thematic and we are happy to announce that yes we will be adding those changes to the game through stretch goals!

So, with your help we can be sure to make this game even better than it already is! Thank you as always for your continued support and for sharing about this campaign, it really means the world to us!

Group Pledges!

A number of backers have enthusiastically approached us in the hopes that we might be able to offer a group pledge option. We are happy to announce that we have looked into this and can now offer a group pledge.

The Group pledge will only be available for at least 4 copies of the Base Game +  4 copies of the Expansion and cannot be just the base game. Unfortunately, due to the limited supply  of the Chinese Festival Bag Pledge, this pledge level can only be purchased as a single pledge and not in a group pledge. You will be able to determine the shipping cost of this pledge level by taking the shipping cost of the base game for your region and multiplying it by 4. For example, if you are doing a group pledge in the USA the base game shipping cost is $15 multiplied by 4 for a total of $60 for the group pledge. If you want to have more than 4 copies of the game + expansion you will be able to adjust this in the pledge manager after the campaign for up to 12 copies. Please note that any additional copy added during the pledge manager will be subject to additional shipping costs equal to one copy of the base game in your region (i.e. 6 copies to the USA would be $90 for shipping).

We have reached our funding goal! We are so excited to be able to share Pingyao: First Chinese Banks and the Golden Pawner expansion with you all. Thank you all so much for your help in making this possible. 

We are looking forward to working towards some great stretch goal options and we have a lot of really great content to further enrich this game for you. To start we have 

First up, more banks!

The first 3 stretch goals we have for you are more agency tiles!

At the heart of the game play of Pingyao is the ability to open new banks. Each bank that you open in the game will offer you new abilities to help you accomplish your goals. Level 1 agencies typically help with dice manipulation to mitigate the dice rolls, level 2 agencies usually provide additional means to earn more income each turn, and the level 3 agencies are focused on generating you more victory points.  With more agency tiles in the game you will see additional strategies unfold from game to game.

97% Funded, can we fund it today?

We were planning on waiting to write an update today until we were funded since we are SO CLOSE to funded! Right now, we need your help more than ever. If you have not yet shared the campaign on social media, please consider doing so, especially if you have had a chance to try it on Tabletop Simulator and can tell  people about your experience. Thank you so much to everybody that has shared, it really has made a difference and we have been enjoying seeing all of your excitement!

Now, to continue showing more of what you are getting in the game, we'd like to focus a little on what comes in the box of the Golden Pawner expansion. As a reminder, the Golden Pawner expansion is a robust expansion that brings a lot of new content to the game, but it is not a stand-alone game since you will need some of the components from the  base game to play. In the Golden Pawner expansion you will be not only opening banks, but you will be opening pawnshops and dealing with other goods than just money. The expansion adds a full new main board to the game replacing the one from the base game as well as adding new player boards. Additionally, it adds the Nation Board which introduces a lot of new systems in the game such as variable goals for every game you play and different pawnable goods to bring you more ways to earn money.
